What is the Shiro-massage?
The cupping massage is a traditional method of releasing tension, in which a negative pressure is created on the skin using cupping cups. This stimulation triggers deep-seated processes: blood circulation is massively increased, lymphatic flow is stimulated, and adhesions in the connective tissue (fascia) are resolved.
At PhysioART, we primarily use dry cupping and dynamic cupping massage to target your specific symptoms. The goal is to harmonize the energy flow and balance muscular imbalances.
How to get back to your everyday life
At the beginning of each therapy session, we conduct a brief conversation to understand your concerns and needs. Based on this, we determine whether the reflexology massage is the appropriate treatment for you.
- Personal preliminary talk
We analyze your pain areas and determine whether the reflexology massage is the optimal addition to your treatment plan. - Targeted treatment
Depending on the findings, the glasses are placed punctually or gently guided over the skin. The resulting pressure creates a stretch in the tissue and provides immediate relief for the muscles. - Debriefing and recommendations
We provide you with tips for the time after the treatment (e.g. heat therapy, stretching exercises) to maintain the relaxing effect in the long term.
