What is a OMT manual therapy?

The Orthopaedic manual therapy (OMT) is an internationally recognised specialisation within physiotherapy.
It is based on a thorough clinical examination and the targeted treatment of complaints affecting the musculoskeletal system - i.e. joints, muscles, fasciae and nerves.

Typical is the use of:

  • Joint mobilisations & manipulations
  • Muscle stretches & soft tissue techniques
  • Neurodynamic techniques for nerve irritation
  • Posture and movement training
  • Supplementary active exercises for lasting stability

Orthopaedic manual therapy (OMT) is not based on symptoms, but on their cause - always on the basis of the latest scientific findings.

I had an acute back problem and managed to get some last-minute appointments with Pascal. Although he hardly had any free slots at first, he even gave up his lunch break to help me. I really appreciated that. He was able to help me a lot, and thanks to the exercises, my back has been significantly better ever since. Highly recommended.

Found the therapist to be very obliging, sociable, competent and approachable. Was satisfied... got to know my body better and received tips for further exercises at home.

I have been to see many physiotherapists about my jaw and the only one that truly helped and who I trust is Thomas Reupke
